** Residents should note that Dighton Police and Fire will only be accepting new, unopened or unworn items.**
Police Chief Robert MacDonald and Fire Chief Christopher Maguy are pleased to announce that the Dighton Police and Fire Departments have partnered together once again to host a toy drive to collect gifts for Dighton families in need this holiday season.
WHEN:
Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WHERE:
Old Town Hall, 1111 Somerset Ave.
WHAT:
Dighton Police and Fire will host their sixth annual holiday toy drive during the first weekend of December.
All gifts such as new toys, books, games, puzzles, gift cards and more will be accepted. Winter gear such as new, unworn hats, gloves and jackets will be accepted as well.
Additionally, Santa Claus will be at the event to greet those in attendance. Dighton Police and Fire apparatus will be present.
Following the toy drive, Dighton Police and Fire will distribute the items collected on an appointment basis.
