Dighton Fire Department Puts New Ambulance Into Service

DIGHTON – Chief Christopher Maguy is pleased to announce that the Dighton Fire Department’s new ambulance was put into service on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Dighton Fire received delivery of the new ambulance on Tuesday, July 30. Ambulance 1, is a Braun Ford F-450 Type 1 Ambulance, from Hopkinton-based Bulldog Fire. The department has spent the past week readying the truck with its required equipment.

“We’re pleased to have our new ambulance now in service,” Chief Maguy said. “We look forward to having this new state-of-the-art vehicle at our disposal to assist our community for many years to come.” 

The ambulance is now housed at Dighton Fire Rescue Station 1 to be used by all personnel.
